Natsume (tea caddy) of standard form, the turned-wood body finished in polished black roiro lacquer and decorated in gold hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, and enashiji depicting bamboo grass with dewdrops inlaid in polished silver, the interior silver lacquer.

Fitted wood tomobako storage box signed outside Nurishi Sekisai 塗師石齋 (Lacquer-master Sekisai); seal: Sekisai 石齋; inscribed inside the lid Sasa maki-e uchi gin chūnatsume Jingyūsai 笹蒔絵 内銀 尋牛斎 (Medium-size natsume with bamboo grass, the interior silver, Jingyūsai); paper wrapper with label identifying the lid inscription as being by tea master Hisada Sōshō (Jingyūsai、 1925–2010).
